Flowers are often where wedding sticker shock sneaks in. Floral design includes much more than the blooms you see: seasonal sourcing, full-bunch purchasing requirements, conditioning, mechanics, design labor, transportation, and installation—all supporting flowers that must remain beautiful through a very full and important day.
At The Prickly Thistle, we believe in making your investment work smarter. We focus on moments with the greatest visual impact, select flexible seasonal flowers, and thoughtfully repurpose arrangements whenever it can be done safely. Our goal is never unnecessary excess; it is a cohesive floral design that feels intentional, personal, and absolutely worth the investment.
Custom wedding floral orders begin at $1,500 in flowers and rentals, before labor, delivery/setup, and tax. Most full-service couples invest between $3,000 and $5,000 in floral design and services.
Because we are a small, event-only floral studio—not a retail flower shop—every stem is purchased specifically for your wedding. Flowers are ordered in full bunches and required minimum quantities, which allows us to create a cohesive floral recipe across your ceremony, personal flowers, and reception.
Bouquet-and-wearable-only orders are considered when the floral selections meet the $1,500 minimum. We do not currently offer individual bridal bouquets or small à la carte personal flower orders.
